Community Meetings Scheduled for Proposed Land Exchange

The NMSLO and the Mescalero Apache Tribe will be hosting the first two in a series of public meetings in the coming weeks to hear any questions, concerns, or feedback you may have about the proposed land exchange between the two entities. The meetings can be attended in-person or online via Zoom.

No final decisions have been made concerning this proposal. These public meetings will be critical to help guide any future decisions throughout this process.

*The goal of this first meeting is to gather feedback from residents who live in neighborhoods in the direct vicinity of the proposed state trust land parcel, including Las Alturas, La Tierra Escondida, and Talavera.
