Governor Signs SB 241 - Funding First of its Kind Universal Childcare Program

On March 10th, I joined Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham as she signed the Childcare Assistance Program Act into law. I was proud to be a sponsor on this legislation that funds universal childcare in our state. Our children deserve high quality education and care and parents should be about to access that care without breaking the bank. This bill ensures we accomplish both those goals in a sustainable way.
